I bought a 2009 SLK 55 AMG here in the US, last august. I am planning to move to Europe next year, around September. I would like to know how much would it cost to change everything from miles to kilometers, from Fahrenheit to Celsius, and whether would I have to do it in Mercedes USA or Mercedes Europe.Change SLK 55 AMG from miles to kilometers?
I don't know about Europe but if you move from US to Canada ( where you have to change your cluster to metric as well ), it's done in Canada. The instrument cluster has to be changed ( approx $1000 ). A Canadian certification letter has to be signed off and that costs another $500 I believe, plus the labour for any of the work done.
