If you had a park with three sides (a triangle) and you walekd aroound it (perimeter) the perimeter would be sie 1 + side 2 + side 3 Example 3+4+5 = 12

but is the side are all the same say 5 you could get

5 + 5 + 5 = 15 or 7 + 7 + 7 = 21

but inthe case where the side are the same lenght would it be eastier to do 3*5 or 3*7 which would be 3*s=p
